Construction on the $20 million Christchurch Adventure Park is just two days away.
The park is being developed on 358 hectares of forested land on the Cashmere Hills, between Dyers Pass, Worsleys and Summit roads.
It includes the largest mountain bike park in the Southern Hemisphere and includes a purpose-built high-speed 1.8km chairlift.
The project is backed by NewUrban Group in partnership with Jianping Wang and Beijing construction company Huadu International Group.
It will bring an estimated $150 million to the Canterbury region and attract year-round tourist activity.
