Cutting Edge “Anti-Impalement Cap” solves contractors’ challenge

On any building job site, protecting workers from serious injury and even death from exposed vertical rebar is an industry hazard.  CAL/OSHA determines safety standards on all products used in this application.  CAL/OSHA requires approved caps to be placed on exposed vertical reinforcing bar to prevent potential impalement from falls onto it.  The BIP patent-pending cap incorporates an industry- first design by using horizontal fins allowing the cap to grip the rebar securely to be used repeatedly without dislodging from the vertical rebar, as is common with most other caps on the market.  The AIC will complement the company’s expanding product line for the building professional and the DIYer.
