DroneShield wins an Australian Department of Defence open tender for portable unmanned aerial system detection devices

On 1 October 2019 DroneShield Ltd (ASX:DRO or DRO.AU) (“DroneShield” or the “Company”) announced that it had won an Australian Department of Defence open tender for portable unmanned aerial system detection devices, in the aggregate amount of approximately A$700,000 and that it expected to deliver the products during the calendar 2019.
These products were shipped to the Australian Department of Defence today, with the payment of approximately A$565,000, for the initial purchase price, expected to be received from the Australian Government this quarter.
DroneShield’s CEO Oleg Vornik commented, “This order is particularly important for us since this is the first sizeable order for our portable drone detection device RfPatrol™ and the first order from the Australian Defence Force.”
