The case study examines how Invigor’s SpotLite and Shopper insight products help retailer’s tailor their decisions based on data that help them understand the market and their customers. The company makes investments in data and machine learning models to help them predict future trends to allow clients should do to have a successful outcome. The study describes how the company’s competitive pricing and the tools have allowed Aussie Hi Fi, a Brisbane- based retailer, the opportunity to strive through competitor price monitoring and price optimisation.
The SpotLite and Shopper Insight products are currently hosted on the Microsoft Azure Cloud. The SpotLite tool is designed to monitor online product listing and provide analysis into merchandising strategies so retailers can better understand the competitive landscape. The Shopper Insights tool uses data to segment customers and makes engagement recommendations. Invigor added the tools to Microsoft Azure Cloud, a robust platform, to set the path for their international expansion goals. They are currently the only company in Australia to offer this type of competitive data-driven optimisation to retailers and brands. The company signed an MOU with Microsoft in 2017. The partnership with Microsoft is steps towards entering gaining broader commercial opportunities and has helped facilitate the development of products with the US-Based company, Neal Analytics.
