Open DNA Limited has rolled out its propriety technology on key industry sectors such as e-commerce, publishing and news, sports, recreation and leisure, business intelligence, analytics and telecommunications, to improve customer awareness.
These industries have been previously identified by the company as its core initial target sectors. These are sectors that have growth potential, a substantial number of customers worldwide and a high degree of consumer interaction.
Open DNA is an artificial intelligence company that got listed on the ASX in November of 2016. Since then, it has continuously worked on innovations that will allow the target business sectors to maximize their operations through the company’s technology.
In the past six months, OpenDNA has actively pursued engagements with the business intelligence and analytics sector such as Looker, Inc. which is considered one of Silicon Valley’s darlings. The company has integrated its artificial intelligence technology into the digital platforms of Looker. With the successful integration of the AI technology to its platforms, the salesforce of Looker is now able to promote and sell the the services of OpenDNA to their prospective and existing customers.
SportsBlog, an online sports blogging website based in the United States, and Robb Report Australian edition which is a publication focusing on luxury goods and activities, have started using OpenDNA’s software applications. The use of the Apps has yielded positive results with engagement figures up from the industry average of six minutes for a news App to 14 articles per session with an eight minutes session time.
OpenDNA’s App resulted to a 75% retention period for the said companies compared to the estimated average retention period in the industry. This result only validated the effectiveness of the personalization technology of the company.
The company has also recently updated the Jottr App which is available in both Android ad iOS formats. This App contains Facebook native ads and is capable of providing users with content from more than 250 sources on a variety of topics including sports, medicine, world news, finance, medicine and entertainment.
OpenDNA also entered into an agreement with Future Mobile Technology (FMT). The company is a manufacturer of Android handset and tablet including the Netsurfer smartphones with more than 500,000 users. Under the agreement, the new Netsurfer handsets will be pre-loaded with OpenDNA’s Jottr App, but subject to Google certification. This will provide users with personalised content the moment they get the phone.
