Pound Paws, an online charity dedicated to the rehoming of pets in Australia, has announced a partnership with Pawssum, a service delivering quality vet care in the comfort of your own home. The partnership has a two-fold benefit in encouraging pet adoption whilst fostering the knowledge on healthy pet care for new pet owners.
Both companies offer a modern, online approach, giving pet owners the opportunity to make initial vet and adoption enquiries online. Pawssum aims to disrupt the $4 billion-dollar vet industry with affordable home visits, low operating costs and flexible working/visitation hours that will benefit both pet owners offering a more personalised experience and greater work opportunities for vets.
Pawssum is seeking investments of over $50K up to $1.2 million with 5% of all funds donated to Pound Paws. For Pound Paws new pet owners, Pawssum will contribute $20 to every vet visit. In addition, Pawssum will offer Pound Paws new owners a comprehensive and affordable health care plan for their new pet.
