Scalable Emerging Tech JAVIS Completes S$500,000 Pre-Seed Round, Secures Startup SG Founders Grant

JAVIS is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed its S$500,000 pre-seed round. The purpose of the funding is to create and build a working prototype of Jupiter, the World’s First Fully Automated Bubble Tea cart.
JAVIS was incorporated in Singapore on 26 January 2021. In a short space of time, they have completed the industrial design of their Minimum Viable Product (“MVP”) and are now working towards the completion of the MVP before the end of this year.
They are also pleased that they have secured Enterprise Singapore’s S$50,000 Startup SG Founders Grant. This is a government grant to boost the pipeline of new innovative startups in Singapore. Institute of Technical Education’s (“ITE”) is their mentor partner for this grant. Their research & development office is housed at ITE’s Technology Development Centre.
Their first Jupiter cart will be test marketing at ITE, where there is a student population of about 10,000. This will give them an opportunity to collect and validate customer data, responses, and experiences. They are currently hiring to enhance the capabilities of the company and their current team will expand from 10 to 25 by the end of this year.
