The UK Digital Retail Innovation Centre showcases Reckoon

The UK Digital Retail Innovation Centre (UK:DRIC) officially opened on 30 May 2019 by the Minister for Digital and the Creative Industries, Margot James MP and the Chair of GFirst Local Enterprise Partnership, Dr Diane Savory OBE. The launch of the new national centre for the future of the high street, city and town centres was also be attended by tech giants Google and IBM.
Attendees of the launch event were able to see a number of retail innovation projects being showcased in partnership with the UK:DRIC, and were also able to take part in Google Digital Garage workshops to learn new skills in data, tech and digital marketing.
Reckoon was invited to the showcasing event on 27th Aug 2019 at Gloucester to display how it is helping high street retailers by providing them with mobile app for shopping. Reckoon app provides a great way for retailers to engage millennials and GenZ shoppers.
The UK:DRIC is working with retailers large and independent to help them develop and apply best practice and upskill. It has been based in Gloucester as the city provides an exemplar location where solutions have been tested and resolved quickly.
