- HidNseek New Record
- On June 10, 2017, HidnSeek hit a world record distance transmission using Sigfox connectivity. A stellar performance of 1151Km between the HidnSeek small tracking device and the Sigfox base station, from Lisbon (Portugal) to the Canary Islands. Locally, Thinxtra previously reached a 212km transmission between a base station and a Sens’it device in New Zealand.
- Sigfox – Bosch Strong Collaboration
- Sigfox and Bosch have joined forces to design and produce the new Sigfox Access Station which includes many new technical features in addition to having a smaller and sleeker form factor while consuming half as much energy. This partnership follows on from a first commercial agreement with e.l.m leblanc (a Bosch Group subsidiary), with the aim of connecting more than 100,000 boilers to the Sigfox network.
