TokenOne, a Sydney-based cybersecurity company, has made a deal with Seccom Global to use its patented authentication technology.
A declaration from TokenOne stated that Seccom Global would sell its technology under the SGToken brand and accompany its suite of security solutions.
The TokenOne’s technology is derived from the principle of “One-Time Pad” that is asserted to make it easy for the Seccom Global’s customers to safely access many accounts and services through the internet or call centres by using a unique PIN without showing that PIN to anyone.
Phil Cuff, TokenOne’s chief executive, stated that new opportunities had been opened due to the partnership since his company was aiming at the same white labelling deals with many independent software vendors.
According to Cuff, it is a great achievement for TokenOne to partner with Seccom Global since that is the first time they are providing their technology as a white-labelled solution. He further says that the partnership is huge fit for the two companies since Seccom Global are experiencing rapid growth and leading in their space in the country. Cuff also states that they are both in business to help organizations and individuals reduce the ever-increasing danger of shocking data breaches and cyber-attacks.
According to Michael Demery, Seccom Global managing director, the more one secures something, the more they need to lock it down, and that complicates things further for the user. He stated that with SGToken, they could verify the identity of the user each time they authenticated as well as federating access to many accounts. These improved the user’s working security as well as the ease to log in.
Michael Demery admitted that despite indulging in the sale of cybersecurity for 15 years, he had never seen a solution that could address security and usability issues inclusively.
The users will obtain the SGToken software as an app for their Android, Windows and iOS smartphones.
