UUV Aquabotix Ltd (ASX: UUV) has expanded its global network of distributors anew as it added W.S. Darley & Co as a distributor for the United States. The company already has distributors to some of its major markets in the world including Brazil, Denmark, Norway, India, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and Canada.

Darley’s business spans the broader emergency services sector with the specialist defence unit, Darley Defense, executing large Federal contracts dating back to pre-World War II.

Aquabotix Chairman Peter James said Aquabotix would continue its partnership with the best distributors like Darley, ROMOR and SBS Teknikk to hit its sales targets.

“The recent establishment of our global distributor network together with the earlier investment in our operational capacity means the business is scalable in real terms, and set for growth,” James said.

Aquabotix is known worldwide for its portable underwater vehicles that are used worldwide for complex missions and underwater explorations conducted by a variety of sectors including the military, government, education and industrial. The company’s underwater vehicles also have recreational applications.

Its newest distributor Darley has been in business since 1908. The company provides services for the emergency sector through its defence unit known as Darley Defense, but has become popular as a supplier of firefighting equipment. Darley is a prime supplier for GSA Schedule and institutions like the US Coast Guard, US Navy and US Army.
