Wholesale Investor hosts Two Events in One Day in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Australasian

Yesterday, Wholesale Investor hosted its Brisbane Australasian Emerging Company Showcase, shortly shadowed by the Sunshine Coast Australasian Emerging Company Investor Showcase. This was a first for Wholesale Investor including it companies and subscribers.

The first event was hosted in Brisbane at Little Tokyo Two, the event featured 9 world-leading companies including a lively and successful networking session in which followed the presentations.

Ross McConnell, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Blinder spoke of the company developing game-changing PR technology that is currently being used by Olympic champions to Grammy winners. The product allows PR managers to schedule calls directly to the mobile phone of their talent, without sharing their phone numbers. Another company, who engaged with the Brisbane audience was Power Club Investments. The Founder and Executive Director, Stuart McPherson, explained how Power Club is a new business with a patentable way for consumers to purchase power and services at previously unavailable direct wholesale prices. The new and disruptive approach minimises costs by eliminating previously unavoidable risk management overhead and uses these savings to realize prices substantially below current offers.

Shorty, after the Brisbane event, our staff, companies and clients headed North to the Sunshine Coast hosted at Spark Bureau, a co-working Sunshine Coast Startup Incubator.

Steve Makris, Founder & Chief Executive of Real Estate Tube presented the company explaining how the user-friendly property video channel is connecting buyers to sellers worldwide. The platform allows vendors to create videos of their properties almost matching to a real, live inspection. Another company, who presented innovation was James Fitzgerald, Co- Founder & Chief Executive Officer, of Moneyball Australia. Moneyball is a daily fantasy sports wagering platform, with a market leading position in Australia since March 2015.

The Wholesale Investor platform is hoping to expand with more events into Queensland, we believe as a company it is an emerging and upcoming space for the investment market.
