KEY TAKEAWAYS:
- Successful outcomes of the Baden Project in Western Australia.
- Stage 2 drilling with three holes has been completed near the property 100% owned by Baden Powell.
- The results have been encouraging as they have extended the strike length of the mineralisation and demonstrated the system is developing at depth.
Intermin Resources (ASX: IRC) proudly announces the reverse circulation results from the fully owned Baden Project situated 60 km north of Kalgoorlie-boulder in Western Australia.
The drilling project was strategically designed to examine for shallow strike extensions to known identified mineralisation adjoining to a historic open shallow pit mine.
One of the huge benefits of the reverse circulation drilling procedure furthering prevention of the samples from being contaminated with other materials that it might come into contact with once it has been removed from the earth.
Historic Baden Powell 2017 drilling program composed of eight Ro holes for 1,164m and was completed in two parts. The first five holes were reported to the ASX as of 29 August 2017 and accentuated the latest discovery in BPRc17o3 17m 3,0 glt Au from 104m). The last three holes for 590m were only recently completed. Hole BPRc1708 and c1702 were drilled north of the old pit with both holes returning thick mineralised intersections. The outcome are encouraging as it shows the Baden Powell system developing at depth.
Upcoming steps with the results from the 2017 program are progressively encouraging as the majority of the holes intersected significant mineralisation at depth. These holes are significantly deepest and completed at the project and have provided vitalization to conduct further drilling processes. It is the perspective of that given the Intermin’s recent drilling victor at the Anthill and Jacques Find projects these will be prioritised for substantial follow up in 2018. Intermin will generally focus on low level exploration jobs at Baden Powell, particularly completing a soils mapping program over M24/959 and proposing an Induced Polarisation (“IP”) survey.
