YuuZoo Corporation limited, a Singaporean-listed company, launched the Tribe Nation app. This was the first subscription app in the Indian market that connected the consumers to farmers in India. The launch took place last week and was accompanied by an event starred by Lucky Ali, the famous Indian singer.

Lucky Ali has won a number of top awards in the Indian music industry. Some of the awards include the 1996 Best Pop Male Vocalist and the 1997 Channel V Viewers’ Choice Award. Also, the actor and composer won the Filmfare Award for the Best Male Playback Singer in 2001.

The Tribe Nation app enables the consumers to subscribe and buy fresh and farm-grown products directly from rural farmers. This unique app aims at bridging the gap between the urban and rural communities in India. It is the tactical extension after YuuVillage’s establishment with iComp Digital Media. According to Mohandas, the joint effort with YuuZoo would assure the consumers of fresh and healthy products obtained straight from the farms.
